Kaira questions PEMRA’s authority to ban Nawaz’s speeches
KARACHI, OCT 02 (DNA) – Pakistan People’s Party leader Qamar Zaman Kaira criticized on Friday the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority for imposing a ban on airing of Nawaz Sharif’s speeches and questioned the regulator’s authority to do so. Balochistan appoints its first-ever woman traffic police sergeant
QUETTA, OCT 02 (DNA) – Quetta has its first-ever woman traffic police sergeant responsible for controlling traffic and guiding drivers. According to the traffic police spokesperson, Sobia Khan is the first ever woman to be appointed as a sergeant in the history of Balochistan. ECP releases final voter lists, registered voters cross 115.74m in Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, OCT 02 (DNA) – The Election Commission of Pakistan has released the final voter lists showing 115,748,753 of registered voters in Pakistan. According to ECP, there are 64,078,616 men, 51,667,599 women and 2,538 transgender voters in the country. The total registered voters in Punjab are 66,236,144, including 36,371,326 male, 29,862,932 female, and 1,886 transgender voters. Coronavirus kills 15 Pakistanis, infects 625 in one day
LAHORE, OCT 02 (DNA) – Pakistan has reported 15 deaths in last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 313,431.
