Saaf Pani case: Shehbaz Sharif’s representative submits reply in NAB
LAHORE, JUNE (DNA) – Representative of former Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Monday has submitted reply in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on his client’s behalf in Saaf Pani Company case.
Shehbaz Sharif has failed to appear in the bureau despite summon however, his representative attended the proceedings.
Earlier, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar had expressed resentment on chief secretary over improper basic facilities in Punjab, asking the provincial government what steps it has taken for boosting health and education sectors.
It is worth here to mention that Dunya News had unearthed mammoth irregularities worth Rs56 bn in 56 companies established by Punjab government. Since then, the anti-graft watchdog had launched a thorough probe into the financial affairs of 56 companies.
These companies have been accused of certain irregularities in recruitment violations and non-completion of various projects in time.
