Army Chief, Malaysian Minister vow broader security cooperation
RAWALPINDI, AUG 21 /DNA/ – Minister of Home Affairs of Malaysia, Saifuddin Nasution Bin Ismail, along with the Malaysian Ambassador to Pakistan and a high-level delegation called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff & Chief of Defence Forces (COAS & CDF), at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, the regional security dynamics and matters of mutual interest were deliberated upon. Both sides reaffirmed the strong and enduring bonds between Pakistan and Malaysia and expressed their resolve to further broaden cooperation and engagement in areas of shared interest.
The COAS & CDF reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further deepening defence collaboration and strategic engagement with Malaysia.
