Nawaz assures PML (N) will complete its term

KOTLI SATTIAN, 25 APR, (DNA) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has vowed that menace of terrorism will be eradicated from Pakistan in next two years.

Addressing a cheque distribution ceremony among rain-affected people in Kotli Sattian on Monday, the Prime Minister said terrorism incidents had declined majorly across the country. “If we have to prosper economically, there is no place for terrorism to exist,” he mentioned.

Nawaz Sharif said that he decided to visit affected areas when he got to know about severe land sliding, despite having too many things to say he has not used inappropriate language against anyone and he will continue to serve people with patience, he added.

Addressing the huge public gathering, the Prime Minister said that he has revisited Kotli Satian after 26 years, he faced many ups and downs during this period, spent much of his time out of the country including tough time period of 14 months behind the bars.

The Prime Minister also said that he has always served people as his politics aim to do so. Politics with lies, sit-ins and havoc in the country is not his manifesto, he added.

Nawaz Sharif said that he was elected in 2013 with a vision to end load-shedding, terrorism and poverty which has drastically decreased since the time he has held the office.

He also vowed to end load shedding till 2018, terrorism to be eradicated in 2 years and committed to regain the globally lost image of Pakistan.

He also took a jibe at his opponents, saying “we don’t practice the politics of dharna, lies and misleading people. We believe in serving people.”

Nawaz Sharif said peace was restoring in Karachi, while a few of remaining problems will also be addressed in the provincial capital of Sindh. He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project will generate thousands of jobs in the country.

The prime minister also promised people to deliver gas and electricity at their doorsteps in the district. “We will also construct a hospital here besides provision of electricity and other missing necessities,” the PM announces.

The premier also announced compensation for rain-affected people of the Tehsil. He said cheques should be dispatched among the affected people within 24 hours. The PM asked the commissioner concerned to report to him after cheque distribution was done.

Amid pro-Nawaz slogans, Nawaz Sharif responded: “I also love you!”, drawing applause from the participants at the gathering.

He also asked people to tell him whether there was any need for construction of road or motorway. “Tell me if you need any such project, I am here to do that,” he stated amid huge cheers from the supporters.

He recalled that he was forced to remain out of country for eight years, so could not visit Kotli Sattian for a long time. “I’ve come here after 26 years and last visited Kotli in 1990. I wanted to come here, but could not make it.” =DNA
