Didn’t pay single penny to overseas players for Pakistan tour: PCB Chief
Karachi : Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s chairman Ehsan Mani said all foreign players during the last two years have toured the country without taking any extra money.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Mani said the revival of international cricket in Pakistan was one of the biggest achievements during his tenure so far.
“Our efforts paid off when we successfully revived international cricket in Pakistan,” said Mani. “As far as paying extra money to foreign players to tour Pakistan is concerned so I can assure you ‘We didn’t pay a single penny to overseas players for Pakistan tour’,” he added upon being asked.
PCB’s boss said they are looking forward to successfully conduct the remaining PSL 5 matches in November and later on the sixth edition of the league. “I am confident that we will stage upcoming events successfully,” he concluded.
