Pakistan is being blamed for US failure in Afghanistan, says Asif
NEW YORK, SEPT 28 (DNA) – Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that Pakistan is being tried to blame for the failure of United States of America in Afghanistan.
Answering questions after delivering his speech at the Asia Society Forum in New York, Khawaja Asif said President Trump’s comments about Pakistan regarding aid hurt Pakistan and its people.
He said Taliban, who have occupied 42 percent part of Afghanistan, don’t need to use Pakistan land.
He said having pleasant relationship with India cannot be achieved overnight. Pakistan will not give up its principled stand on the Kashmir dispute, he continued.
Asif said the so-called 20 billion dollars aid to Pakistan was in fact repayment of the services rendered by Pakistan in fighting terrorism.
