Islamabad, 06 Aug 26: Minister of Defence of Federal Republic of Somalia, Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, called on Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, at Naval Headquarters, Islamabad.
Upon arrival at Naval Headquarters, the dignitary was warmly received by Chief of the Naval Staff. During the interaction, both leaders deliberated on key matters of mutual professional interest, regional maritime security dynamics, and avenues for bilateral defence collaboration. Admiral Naveed Ashraf reiterated that Pakistan places immense value on its diplomatic and military ties with Somalia, underscoring a strong desire to build a sustainable, long-term, and multi-faceted partnership between the two nations.
