Pak-India DGMOs make hotline contact
RAWALPINDI, 10 APR, (DNA) – Pakistan and India’s Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) has established a hotline contact in the backdrop of ceasefire violation by Indian military earlier Sunday.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the issues pertaining to ceasefire violation along the line of control were discussed.
Pakistani DGMO protested against the unprovoked initiation of fire by Indian troops along LoC, the ISPR said in a statement.
Earlier, Indian Border Security Force resorted to unprovoked firing in Nezapir Sector of Rawlakot, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The Indian forces opened indiscriminate firing at around 11.40 pm Saturday night and continued their gunfire with intermittent shelling until 4.45am.
No loss of life or property damage was reported during the firing. Pak Rangers befittingly responded to the Indian aggression. =DNA
