CGSSI hosts dinner in the honor of Uzbekistan’s ambassador to Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Center for Global & Strategic Studies, Islamabad hosted a dinner in the honor of Aybek A. Usmanov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan and other diplomatic staff of the Embassy.
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram praised the instrumental role of Aybek A. Usmanov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan and the diplomatic staff of the Embassy in enhancing the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. Aybek A. Usmanov acknowledged and appreciated the efforts and initiatives of CGSS that has achieved milestones in strengthening bilateral ties between Uzbekistan and Pakistan. He specifically mentioned the importance of people to people contact that is now strongly being established between both countries.
Both the parties ensured further cooperation to enhance cultural ties, linguistic, economic, students exchange programs among both countries in the coming years. The dinner was also attended by of Lieutenant Colonel Saadullah Tashmatov, Defence Attaché, Mr Jasur Saidahmedov , Second Secretary, Mr. Hussain Tashbaev, Third Secretary, Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Islamabad, Prof Dr. Shabir Ahmad Khan, Director, Area Study Center, (Russia, China, and Central Asia), University of Peshawar and Mr. Ansar Mahmood Bhatti, Chief Editor, Diplomatic News Agency.
