8th Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Central Asia + Japan Dialogue
On April 15, 2022, in the format of a videoconference, a meeting of the foreign ministers of the participating countries of the Dialogue “Central Asia + Japan” was held.
During the meeting, the Foreign ministers of the member states of Dialogue discussed the issues of further strengthen cooperation between Central Asia and Japan, the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, to counter COVID-19 pandemic, strengthening border control, implementation of the sustainable development goals in the region and cooperation in the international and regional issues.
It was emphasized that Tajikistan has established good cooperation with Japan on the development and implementation of various projects in the fields of agriculture, education, energy, industry, healthcare, transport, tourism and IT technology to achieve a sustainable development goals.
