Number of COVID-19 cases in Uzbekistan reaches 2612

DNA Tashkent, MAY 14  —the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan reached 2612, increasing by 16. Of the 16 new cases confirmed, 11 patients arrived from abroad and placed in quarantine, and 5 were under surveillance in quarantine institutions. Currently, 2,076 people have completely recovered from coronavirus infection. Of the 525 patients are undergoing treatment, 12 are currently in serious condition.


21 patients recovered in three regions of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, MAY 14  — Currently, 1 patient has been cured of coronavirus infection in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and sent for rehabilitation, 14 in Khorezm region, 6 in Bukhara region. To date, 110 people have completely recovered in Karakalpakstan, 210 people in Khorezm, and 433 people in Bukhara. 150 Pakistanis brought back from France

  MUBAHSAR BHATTI PARS :Paris 14th May, 2020. A special PIA flight took off from Paris to Islamabad carrying onboard 150 stranded Pakistanis. The flight had been arranged by the Government of Pakistan to repatriate stranded Pakistanis in France. Apart from France, a number of stranded Pakistanis from neighboring countries, including Belgium, Italy and Poland also travelled on the special flight.       In addition to the passengers, three dead bodies of Pakistani nationals who had unfortunately passed away in the recent past were also repatriated.  


PM Khan, world leaders demand free coronavirus vaccine for all

World leaders past and present insisted on Thursday that any eventual COVID-19 vaccines and treatments should be made available to everyone, free of charge. South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan were among more than 140 signatories of a letter saying any vaccine should not be patented while the science should be shared between nations.
