Saudi Prince Salman calls PM Imran to discuss occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, on Monday called Prime Minister Imran Khan to discuss the situation of the occupied Kashmir. Both leaders in a telephonic conversation discussed the current situation of the Kashmir. PM Imran apprised the Saudi Prince about the Indian atrocities taking place in the valley after the abrogation of the Article 370. The telephonic communication between the two leaders also reviewed the overall situation in the region besides Kashmir.

President summons joint session of Parliament on Aug 30

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – The President of Pakistan has summoned the Joint Session of Parliament on August 30. “In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 54 read with clause (3) of Article 56 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President has summoned both the Houses of the Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) on Friday, August 30 at 5 pm,” a press release issued by the National Assembly Secretariat said. Justice Faiz Isa did not commit any misconduct by writing letter to President:SJC

ISLAMABAD (DNA). The Supreme Judicial Council on Monday ruled that Justice Qazi Faiz Isa did not commit any misconduct when he wrote letters to the President. The SJC therefore rejected petition of Shahzad Butt. The SJC further observed that when Justice Isa wrote letters to the President he was under stress because of some family issue.
