Punjab Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Care, Imran Sikandar Baloch, says special SOPs for different sectors have been issued in view of the increase in Corona cases in the province.

In a statement today (Sunday), he urged people that vaccination is the only and effective treatment against coronavirus and it is necessary for people above 12 years age to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

The secretary appealed the people to maintain social distance and wear a mask and contact 1033 for any guidance or complaints.

Meanwhile, Dengue prevention activities have been intensified across Punjab under the direction of Punjab, Imran Sikandar Baloch.

In a statement on Sunday, the Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Care said health department continues operations across the province to eradicate dengue larvae and their breeding.

He said so far this year, 2,189 confirmed cases of dengue have been reported in Punjab.

He urged the people to take Precautionary measures against dengue.
