Sartaj calls Indonesia FM, condoles the death of Heri in Naltar

ISLAMABAD, 12 MAY, (DNA) – The Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, called his Indonesian counterpart, Retno Marsudi, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Indonesia.
The Adviser offered deep condolences and sympathies over the loss of life of Heri Listyawati, wife of Ambassador Burhan Muhammad, who also got injured, in a tragic helicopter crash in the Northern Areas on 8 May.
Appreciating the services of late Listyawati, the Adviser paid tribute to Madam Listyawati for being an ardent promoter of strong bonds of friendship between Pakistan and Indonesia.
He said that she was very popular in the social and ladies diplomatic circle in Islamabad. She will be greatly missed. May her soul rest in peace.
The Adviser conveyed that arrangements have been made by the Government of Pakistan to transport bodies of those who lost their lives to their respective countries and provide best medical treatment to those injured. He also prayed for early recovery of Ambassador Burahn Muhammad.
The Foreign Minister of Indonesia expressed her Government’s gratitude for the support provided by the Government of Pakistan immediately after the tragic accident.
She also conveyed her condolences over the loss of lives of Pakistanis and other diplomats and wished speedy recovery of the injured persons. =DNA
