PTI starts shortlisting candidates for general elections
ISLAMABAD, SEP 14 (DNA) — Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supremo and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has given the party organizations the task of shortlisting candidates for the general elections.
The PTI central Punjab meeting was held under the chairmanship of Asad Umar while Yasmin Rashid, Hamad Azhar, Ejaz Chaudhary and organisational officials participated in the meeting.
During the session, the shortlisting of candidates for the upcoming elections in the province has started upon Imran Khan’s directive, while the party organisations have presented the initial lists of loyal and strong party candidates.
The PTI senior leader and former Federal Minister Hammad Azhar said that the preparations for the general elections have started ahead of time, adding that the final decisions will be taken by the Parliamentary Board and Imran Khan. =DNA
