Staff Reporter

Islamabad: President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and most senior government minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said that the people of Azad Kashmir would participate in the PTI’s D-Chowk gathering on March 27 more than other provinces and Gilgit Baltistan. He expressed these views in his media talk here in Islamabad.

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said that Molana Fazlur Rehman’s politics was full of evil. He said Molana had gone far from the ideology of his superiors, adding that contrary to the spirit of religion, ministry, money, position and protocol had become his motto. He further said that he played the role of facilitator of India in the illegal move of Articles 370 and 35A in Kashmir and now he would play the role of facilitator again by announcing a long march during the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) conference in Islamabad.

The president of PTI AJK further stated that workers from all over Pakistan including from AJK would come to Islamabad on 27th March to express solidarity with Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said that people would come from every tehsil, district and every union council of Azad Kashmir and the number of people coming from Azad Kashmir will be much more than other provinces and Gilgit Baltistan.

Commenting on opposition parties’ march in Islamabad, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas said that the drama that the opposition was playing would flop. “Opposition parties have been in power for 30 years, and when they step down, they get sick,” he said. He went on to say that Pakistanis needed a leader whose life and death was for Pakistan and the Pakistani nation and all these qualities were only in Imran Khan. He also said that Imran Khan could have lived anywhere in the world if he wanted, but he preferred the tough path of fighting for the respect of his nation.

Commemorating his role for highlighting the Kashmir issue globally, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas said, Prime Minister Imran Khan, being the ambassador of the Kashmir issue raised the voice of Kashmir in every forum of the world and Kashmiris were standing behind him. Commenting on Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q), he said that he had a long-standing relationship with the leadership of PML-Q and he had faith that the Chaudhry brothers would support the government unconditionally.
