Pakistan stronger, securer today than 2013: PM Nawaz

LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan is economically stronger and securer today as compared to 2013.
He was chairing a high-level meeting here on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Nawaz Sharif said PML-N government has put the county on path of progress and prosperity. He said the increasing foreign investment in the country would create more jobs.
Prime Minister said the government has achieved various successes on the economic front. He said economy of the country is strengthening and stabilizing.
He reiterated the resolve to continue efforts for further strengthening economy. Nawaz Sharif said reforms have been introduced to enhance investment in the country.
He said work on various projects under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is underway. He said CPEC will bring progress and prosperity in the entire region.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir and other high officials attended the meeting.
