LHC suspends Hanif Abbasi’s life sentence in ephedrine case

LAHORE (DNA News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday has suspended life sentence of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi in ephedrine case.
According to details, a two-member bench headed by Justice Alia Neelum announced the verdict and ordered to release PML-N former MNA.
On July 22, a special anti-narcotics court had handed life imprisonment to Hanif Abbasi in ephedrine quota case, four days before the general elections in the country.
