Khursheed Shah says govt pushing opposition toward roads
ISLAMABAD, 13 JUNE, (DNA) – Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has said that the People’s Party not wants agitation on roads but the government pushing us to do so.
Talking to media in Islamabad after a meeting with Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid Monday, Khursheed Shah said that the PPP will take a decision if the talks between the government and opposition on terms of reference (ToRs) of a judicial commission will end in failure.
“We want to help the government but they should also come forward for it. He said it will be in the interest of the prime minister to accept the ToRs proposed by the opposition parties,” he said.
He said the accountability of the PPP leadership has been continued for decades.
The Opposition Leader said the government has failed to provide relief to the people. Power loadshedding has become unbearable for the people.
Government could not dodge everything by calling it a conspiracy, he added. =DNA
