Imran Khan attends Iftar dinner hosted in honour of ambassadors
ISLAMABAD, 15 JUNE, (DNA) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader and former Senator Dr. ShahzadWaseem hosted an Iftar dinner in honour of Ambassadors at his residence.
Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e InsafImran Khan attended Iftar dinner as chief guest along with senior PTI leaders Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Jahangir Khan Tareen, Asad Umar, Abdul Aleem Khan, NaeemulHaq. Good number of local and foreign dignitaries was also present.
Speaking at the occasion Chairman PTI Imran Khan said that Pakistan wants friendly and cordial relations with its neighboring countries and is working for peace and stability in the region. He said the western route of CPEC is most important one as it could serve the least develop areas of Pakistan. He ensured Chinese Ambassador of his full support and cooperation for success of CPEC.
He reiterated that issue of corruption is the root cause of economic miseries of common people of Pakistan. He warned that people will be on streets if parliament failed to act against ruling elite for their corruption.
At the end he congratulated Dr. ShahzadWaseem for organizing the successful event. =DNA
