ISLAMABAD, FEB 21: For his first official engagement with the host government, Ambassador Azhar, called on Ali Haider Altaf, Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan at his Office. The Ambassador was accompanied by Nor Azuan Bin Haji Ayub, Third Secretary.

During the call, Ambassador Azhar presented a copy of Letters of Credence to the Chief of Protocol.  Both sides took the opportunity to engage and exchange views on the state of relations between Malaysia and Pakistan as well as regional matters of importance. The call was conducted in a warm and friendly manner befitting the excellent state of relations between Malaysia and Pakistan.
