COAS, corps commanders discuss law and order, border issues

RAWALPINDI, OCT 03 (DNA) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa presided over a meeting of corps commanders on Tuesday to discuss matters relating to security and defense.
the country’s law and order situation and border issues discussed at the meeting held at the General Headquarters Rawalpindi.
The progress of Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad and infrastructure development in the tribal areas of the country was also reviewed.
According to sources, senior officials of the armed forces were present at the meeting where the COAS informed them about his recent visit to Afghanistan and his meetings with the officials there.
General Bajwa went on a day-long visit to Kabul on Sunday where he met with the Afghan president and senior military officials to discuss regional security and border management.
