Medical teams from Punjab continue dengue treatment in KP
PESHAWAR, AUG 20 (DNA) – The medical teams from Punjab are continuing to treat the patients of dengue in Peshawar despite Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government’s refusal to take any help.
These teams have installed their camps in Peshawar’s affected area Tehkal where patients are also being checked.
Furthermore, four more health units from Punjab including eight ambulances, eight doctors and eight nurses will reach Peshawar today.
The camps have been set under the supervision of Punjab Minister for Primary and Secondary Health Khawaja Imran Nazir.
On the other hand, KP government has taken the stance that it will curb the disease using its own resources, and will not give access to medical teams from Punjab to its hospitals.=DNA
