Premiere of documentary ‘Dancing with Snow’ held in Serena
ISLAMABAD, AUG 20 (DNA) – The Pakistan Air Force Ski Federation hosted a premiere of the documentary ‘Dancing with Snow’ in collaboration with Serena Hotels. The 15-minute film promotes skiing on the exceptional slopes of Pakistan and the event was attended by local and foreign dignitaries and enthusiasts of winter sports.
The Vice Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Asad Abdur Rehman Lodhi, was the Chief Guest on the occasion and took the opportunity to highlight the wonders of Northern Pakistan which is home to 5 of the world’s 14 highest peaks.
Mr. Aziz Boolani, CEO of Serena Hotels, said, “Pakistan has incredible landscapes which have yet to be discovered by the rest of the world. Our mountains, however, are important destinations for tourism amongst climbers as beyond the 5 giants we have numerous other peaks from five thousand metres to seven thousand metres that offer sports opportunities of varying difficulty levels.
Skiing is a sports that is gaining popularity, through the laudable efforts of the Ski Federation, and Serena Hotels is honoured to play a part in sharing the wonders of our mountains with a wider audience.
