PTI won’t attend joint-session of parliament on Nov 17
ISLAMABAD, NOV 12, (DNA): A meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leadership chaired by chairman Imran Khan was held here on Saturday.The meeting discussed the November 17 joint-session of Parliament.
PTI will not attend the joint-session of Parliament and maintain its National Assembly boycott. Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was a controversial figure and the PTI would not attend any Parliament session until the ruling on Panama Leaks case.
According to sources, Imran Khan dismissed advise of senior party leaders to attend the joint session which will also be attended by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The PTI will request time to meet the Turkish president.
The decision was made during PTI senior leadership meeting chaired by Imran Khan at Bani Gala. The meeting discussed the November 17 joint-session of Parliament.
