LAHORE, July 17 (DNA): Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that black day against Indian cruelties in occupied Jammu & Kashmir will be observed actively.

He said that elected representatives and workers should take active part in the functions on the occasion of black day for the right of self-determination of Kashmiris and exposing Indian cruelties.

Addressing Members National and Provincial Assembly, here today Shehbaz Sharif said that India cannot deprive the Kashmiris of their right of self-determination through brutalities. He said that we salute the struggle of independence of Kashmiri sisters and brothers. He said Indian government should fully understand that it cannot crush spirit of independence of Kashmiri people through bullets.

The Chief Minister said that the policy of violence and atrocities of Indian government has further increased the desire of freedom in the hearts of Kashmiri people. He said that freedom is basic right of Kashmiris and India cannot deprive them of right of self-determination for a long time through state-terrorism. Shehbaz Sharif said that he salutes the brave mothers of Kashmir whose sons and daughters have embraced martyrdom for independence.

He said that there is no moral justification for silence of world community against the bloodshed of innocent Kashmiris. He said that international community should pressurize India to stop bloodshed in Kashmir as murder of unarm Kashmiris is open violation of human rights. World community should take immediate practical steps for checking Indian cruelties against Kashmiris, he added.

He said that Pakistan will continue its diplomatic and moral support for Kashmiris.  DNA
