GAZA, NOV 24: Much-anticipated truce between Israel, Hamas begins Three trucks — two for fuel, one for gas — entered Gaza Strip as enclave expects 230 trucks to enter today.
Three trucks have entered the Gaza Strip, two for fuel and one for gas, according to Al Jazeera. They are located in the parking for trucks inside Gaza and will soon be transferred to the stations.
It was previously reported that much-needed humanitarian aid was also expected to cross from Egypt into Gaza in the hours that followed the truce.
According to Hamas, 200 aid trucks and more trucks of fuel will enter Gaza daily.
A statement by the spokesperson of the Rafah crossing administration confirmed the entry of aid and fuel trucks into the Gaza Strip.
“We expect 230 trucks to enter today,” the spokesperson said.
