Only 1,456 transgender listed from 97.02 million voters in electoral rolls

ISLAMABAD, OCT 22 (DNA) – There are only 1,456 transgender voters on the country’s electoral rolls featuring 97.02 million people, although their population according to the latest census is over 10,000. The rolls updated till October 12 have 54.59 million male and 42.42 million female voters. Kohlu landmine blast leaves one dead, another injured

KOHLU, OCT 22 (DNA) – At least one man was killed, another injured when a landmine exploded in Balochistan’s Kohlu district on Sunday. Maulvi Shambu Khan was killed while Nawab Khan was injured in a landmine attack in the Chappi Kach area of Kahan tehsil. The injured was shifted to a local hospital.
