Five killed in Sukkur factory blast

SUKKUR, SEPT 19 (DNA) – At least five people were killed in an explosion at a cement factory in Sukkur on Tuesday. DIG Sukkur Feroze Shah said that the two members of the Bomb Disposal Squad, a Rangers official and a labourer embraced martyrdom, while defusing explosives at the factory. The deceased were in the middle of defusing explosives at the site when the explosion occurred, critically injuring six other Rangers personnel, the factory manager and a labourer.
