Gov’t releases Rs.53.615 billion for development projects

ISLAMABAD, AUG 21 (DNA) – The government has so far released Rs53.615 billion under its Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the fiscal year 2017-18 for various ongoing and new schemes against their total allocations of Rs.1001 billion. Mall Road turns into battlefield as lawyers go on rampage in LHC

LAHORE, AUG 21 (DNA) – Lawyers on Monday created a ruckus in Lahore High Court (LHC) after a larger bench ordered arrest of president Multan bench Sher Zaman Qureshi and secretary Qaisar Abbas. The lawyers in an attempt to enter LHC Chief Justice’s chamber broke the main entrance gate for him and smashed the walk through gate.
