Test squad selected for upcoming New Zealand tour

Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq finalised a 16-member Test squad for the New Zealand tour on Monday, said a Pakistan Cricket Board press release. The squad was finalised by the chief selector and the National Selection Committee after consultations with Head Coach Mickey Arthur and Test Captain Misbah-ul-Haq. ADB approves $75m loan to Pakistan for third wind energy investment

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $75 million loan with Triconboston Consulting Corporation (TBCC) to support the development of the largest wind farm in Pakistan. “The deal is ADB’s third wind energy investment in Pakistan’s burgeoning independent power producer segment. The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday reiterated its earlier order that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) cannot lockdown Islamabad but can hold its planned sit in at ‘Democracy Park and Speech Corner’, located near Islamabad’s Parade Ground in Shakarparian and ordered the PTI chief to appear in court.
