KARACHI: The third death anniversary of the 1965 war hero Muhammad Mahmood Alam, popularly known as MM Alam, was observed across the country Friday. KARACHI: Three Rangers personnel were injured when unknown miscreants hurled hand grenade at their check-post near Korangi Crossing in Karachi on Friday. Sources said the injured paramilitary personnel have been identified as Manzoor, Kalimullah and Abdul Ghafoor. They were rushed to hospital for treatment. Every home in Rawalpindi rural areas to have toilets

RAWALPINDI: The Punjab government has launched a scheme to construct toilets and washroom in every home in Rawalpindi rural areas to discourage open defecation and spilling human waste. A district wash committee (DWC) headed by EDO Finance Muhammad Munawar Anjum has been formed to implement the project.
