AWALPINDI (DNA ) – US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad on Friday called on the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ in Rawalpindi.

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), US Ambassador to Pakistan Paul W Jones was also present in the meeting. Matters pertaining to regional security situation with particular reference to ongoing Afghan reconciliation process was discussed in the meeting.\

The US diplomat also met with the foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
