Boy’s nose, ear chopped off after eloping with a girl
TOBA TEK SINGH: The nose and an ear of a youth were chopped off by parents and relatives of a girl who had eloped with him at Chak 250-JB, Mochiwala, Jhang, on Monday.
Imran Ali of Nawan Lahore village 337-JB, Sahabwala, and her relative girl had eloped. The girl was later brought back to her home through a village jury (panchayat).
To take revenge, the parents and relatives forced the girl to call Ali to her village and, upon reaching there, they overpowered him and chopped off his nose, an ear and also cut his hair. The injured youth got the first-aid treatment from the RHC, Lahore.
Nawan Lahore muharrar Muhammad Riaz said the case could not be registered as the incident took place in the Mochiwala police station area.
Mochiwala muharrar Maqbool Ahmad said they had not received any application from the complainant.
He said they knew about the incident through electronic media and a police party had been sent to Nawan Lahore to record the statement of the injured youth for the registration of a case.
The muharrar said the accused would be arrested after the registration of a case.
