Two injured as oil tanker topples in Rahim Yar Khan
RAHIM YAR KHAN, JUL 29 (DNA) – An oil tanker carrying 40,000 liters of fuel on Saturday toppled on the National Highway in Rahim Yar Khan, and two persons including its driver sustained injuries in the incident.
It has been learnt that the tanker turned turtle when the driver dozed off and could not control the vehicle in Rahim Yar Khan’s area Zahir Pir.Motorway police and other rescue teams reached the spot upon hearing the news, and highway was closed for traffic which resulted in long queues of cars.
It is worth mentioning here that another oil tanker had overturned on Friday (yesterday) near Talagang containing thousands of liters of fuel.
