Turkish Ambassador, Railways Minister discuss rail projects

ISLAMABAD, MAR 01 (DNA) – Turkish Ambassador, Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul called on Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad in Islamabad on Friday.
They discussed cooperation in rail projects between Pakistan and Turkey.
The Railways Minister said Pakistan Railways is being developed on modern lines and the country would like to utilize Turkey’s experiences in this sector.
He invited the Turkish companies to become collaborate in ML-II and III and Quetta, Zahidan and Taftan rail line upgradation. Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said Pakistan Railways will extend full cooperation to Turkish companies if they become partner in Locomotive Factory Risalpur.
Turkish ambassador said his country has the capability to provide expertise and partnership in housing, tourism and infrastructure development projects in Pakistan.
Sheikh Rashid Ahmad thanked Turkey and its people on extending complete support to Pakistan’s stance in the prevailing situation.=DNA
