Top US commander, Army Chief discuss Afghan reconciliation

RAWALPINIDI, 21 MAR (DNA) – General John Nicholson, Commander Resolute Support Mission and United States Forces Afghanistan called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Monday at General Headquarters, on his maiden visit.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest and regional security with particular emphasis on coordination along Pak – Afghan border and reconciliation process in Afghanistan were discussed, the ISPR said.
The newly appointed Commander Resolute Support Mission and United States Forces – Afghanistan also appreciated successes of operation Zarb-e-Azb and efforts of Pakistan for regional security. DNA
