THQ Murree upgradation work to be completed by January
RAWALPINDI, OCT 31 (DNA) – Punjab government has started upgrading Tehsil Headquarter Hospital (THQ) Murree at a cost of Rs. 207 million.
The hospital would have ICU, CCU, Dialysis and Physiotherapy departments whereas these facilities are not available at present. However this will happen by dint of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s revolutionary steps to improve health facilities in the province.
Murree is the country’s worth seeing hill station and needs quality health care facilities to the locals besides a large number of tourists visiting the town.
CEO District Health Dr. Mohammad Sohail Chaudhry said sixty one percent renovation and up-gradation work of the old building has been completed at a cost of Rs. 49.225 million. THQ Murree has 82 beds capacity.
Hopefully the newly renovated hospital with latest emergency, outdoor and indoor patients departments and other facilities would meet the health needs of the residents.=DNA
