RAWALPINDI /DNA/ – On 20 February 2022, Security Forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation on reported presence of terrorists in North Waziristan District. During intense exchange of fire, 5 x terrorists got killed. 

Details of killed terrorists are: -• Terrorist Habib Nawaz @ Shakil • Terrorist Waheed Ullah • Terrorist Abdur Rehman • Terrorist Muhammad Ullah• Identification of 5th terrorist is in progress. Weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the killed terrorists which include sub machine guns, hand grens and large quantity of multiple calibre rounds. 

The killed terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against security forces target killing and kidnapping for ransom. Meanwhile, Sepoy Shabbir Ahmed (resident of Quetta, age – 28 years) having fought gallantly and inflicting casualties upon the terrorists, embraced shahadat during intense fire fight.   Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
