Pakistan, Tajikistan friendship association formed
LAHORE, MAR 14 (DNA) – Ambassador of Tajikistan has inaugurated office of Pakistan, Tajikistan Friendship Association (PTFA) in Lahore.
Ambassador of Tajikistan while speaking on the occasion praised his Pakistani friends who took the initiatives adding this step would further bring peoples of both countries closer.
The Tajik ambassador further said, his country greatly values its relations with Pakistan, which is evident from the high level visits, taken place in recent years.
The ambassador further said the recently held ECO summit in Islamabad was a great success for which Pakistani authorities need appreciation.
He added the Tajik President Emomali Rahmon attended the ECO summit along with other heads of state and government. He said, Tajik president and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have met on a number of occasions.
Ambassador Sherali assured the office bearers of Pakistan, Tajikistan friendship association of his full support and hoped this association will do its best to promote bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.=DNA
