Special prayers offered at churches for PM early recovery

LAHORE, 29 MAY, (DNA) – Special prayers were held in several churches of provincial capital on Sunday for health of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
The worshippers prayed for early recovery of the prime minister and for the prosperity of the country.
In this connection, Pastor Anwar Fazal alongwith Pastor Shaukat Fazal, Pastor Munwar Fazal, Sister Nida Anwar and Pastor Imran conducted prayer for the early recovery of the prime minister in the Sunday Service at Eternal Life Church, Kot lakhpat.
A large number of Christian men, women and children were present on the occasion.
Pastor Emanuel Sardar Khokhar in another Sunday service at the Central Church (Diocese of Raiwind Church of Pakistan), Waris Road, offered prayer for his quick recovery. He also prayed for the progress, prosperity and peace of the country.
Later, the Bishop Samuel Robert Azariah, also appealed the Christian community present in the ceremony to individually pray for the good health of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Pastor Irshad Ashaknaz conducted prayer for health of prime minister at Christ Church, Youhanabad, in a Sunday Service wherein a large number of members of Christian Community were present.
Bishop Sabastian Francis Shaw, Arch Bishop of Catholic Diocese, conducted prayer for speedy recovery of the prime minister at Catholic Church, Anarkali. =DNA
