Shahbaz visits Kasur via public transports, inspects, DHQ, Bazaars
KASUR, 12 JUNE, (DNA) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif rode a public van and made a surprise visit to Kasur’s Ramazan Bazar without any protocol.
Shehbaz inspected Ramzan Bazar arranged near the railway station and directed shopkeepers to provide gram flour and pulses in packages weighing one kg to half kg. He adored the kids and distributed 2kg packets of sugar among the people as a gift.
He also made a surprise visit to District Quarters Hospital Kasur and visited different wards to ensure hygiene conditions. He also enquired from patients about the availability of proper medical treatment.
CM Shehbaz expressed strong resentment over the closure of air conditioners during his visit to general wards of the hospital and chided relevant officials over filthy washrooms.
On his departure, Shehbaz’s helicopter landed in the fields and flew straight to brick kilns. He said that government had been granting Rs 1000 to every school child going to school. He would never tolerate child labour, Shehbaz added.
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said while talking to Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique in Lahore that PML (N) believes in politics of values. The Chief Minister said that today’s Pakistan is safe, peaceful, prosperous and progressive as compared to the past. =DNA
