Seven envoys to present credentials to President on Sept 04
ISLAMABAD, SEPT 01 (DNA)- As many as seven ambassadors and high commissioner will present their credentials to President Dr. Alvi on September 04.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has given schedule to all envoys. The ceremony shall take place at the President House.
Those who will present their credentials include, Ambassador of Russian Federation, High Commissioner of Australia, Ambassador of the Netherlands, Ambassador of Palestine, Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Ambassador of Portugal and High Commissioner of United Kingdom.
The Russian ambassador Danila Ganich arrived in Pakistan few months back and waiting for his turn to present credentials. By and large, the credential presenting ceremony takes place when five or more envoys are around waiting for their turn to present papers.
However in case of US ambassador, the ceremony can take place at any time and date of ambassador’s choosing. The US currently does not have a full ambassador.=DNA
