Senate Committee of Whole House finalises draft over Trump’s statement

ISLAMABAD, AUG 29 (DNA) – Senate Committee of the Whole House on Tuesday has finalized draft over Pakistan-United States of America relations and Donald Trump’s statement.
According to details, an in-camera consultation of Senate Committee was held during which a joint session of the parliament over Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani’s recommendation was demanded. The House also discussed suggestions given by the draft committee.
As per the draft, National Assembly is not authorized to approve any changes as it’s the matter of House’s independency.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif said he wishes that NA should approve the resolution designated by Senate. However, there will be no issue if both Houses table separate resolutions, he continued.
