Security forces seize arms, ammunition in Radd-ul-Fasaad IBOs: ISPR
RAWALPINDI, SEPT 09 (DNA) – Security Forces on Saturday recovered huge stockpile of arms and ammunition during separate raids in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
Acting on an intelligence tip-off, security agencies conducted raids in Autto Khel area of Mohmand Agency and Battan village of Upper Dir’s Wari Tehsil. During the raid, a large cache of arms and ammunition including machine guns, mortars, rocket launchers, hand grenades, explosive material and communication equipments were recovered, Pakistan Army’s media wing said.
Separately in an intelligence based operation (IBO), Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan seized huge cache of arms and ammunition including mortars and rockets in Tadri area of Balochistan’s Kohlu district.
However, no further details were shared by Pakistan Army’s media wing pertaining to arrests during the raids.
