Sartaj Aziz signs condolence book at Turkish embassy
ISLAMABAD, 01 JULY (DNA) – Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Friday signed the condolence book placed at the Embassy of Turkey in memory of the victims of terrorist attack at the Ataturk Airport in Istanbul.
“I wish to convey on behalf of the people of Pakistan and on my own behalf, our deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the victim and prayers for the departed souls and for the quick recovery of the injured,” Aziz wrote in his comments.
He expressed grief over loss of several precious lives and said, “we salute the resilience and courage of the Turkish people to stand up to the evil forces of terrorism.” DNA
