Sabotage bid foiled, ammunition seized in Baluchistan
QUETTA, OCT 31 (DNA) – Security forces foiled a sabotage bid and seized a heavy cache of ammunition in Dera Bugti and Loralai area of Baluchistan.
An official on Tuesday said that following a tip off, security forces carried out search operations in two different areas including Dera Bugti’s Alyasi and Loralai’s Jalal area.
The ammunition including 12 anti-tanks mines, 2 landmines, detonators, mortar shells, rounds, an 82 mortar round, 4 SMGs, 01 pistol and other arms were recovered in search operations.
The official said that ammunition were to be used for sabotage activities in the country. Security forces cordoned off the entire areas and started efforts to trace out suspects. Further investigation was underway.
