Rawalpindi: Man arrested for keeping family hostage, killing one

RAWALPINDI, DEC 30 (DNA) – The man who held his family hostage in a home located in Morgah area of Rawalpindi has been arrested in injured condition by the authorities.
According to details, the hostages included his wife, children and in-laws. The 36-year-old criminal had killed his father-in-law by opening fire and injured two others including an elite force official.
It has been learnt that the man also tried to commit suicide at night. Heavy contingents of police and rescue teams reached the incident spot and controlled the situation.
Both the injured have been shifted to a local hospital. The elite force officer in critical condition.
