Qadri, Amb. Kaminara discuss ways to end Islamophobia

ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of European Union (EU) to Pakistan Androulla Kaminara, on Friday, has called on Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri in Islamabad.
According to the details, both the leaders discussed about formulating mutually beneficial policies to facilitate the public of two countries in the matters pertaining to religious freedom and rights of minorities.
Moreover, a brief discussion on unifying the heads of Islamic countries to eradicate Islamophobia from the Western-world also took place.
Earlier this week, Androulla Kaminara stressed Intrafaith and interfaith harmony is the need of the hour. Unity is a symbol of national solidarity. The environment and climate are our common heritage. Protecting it is our national responsibility. Women have an important role to play in the development and prosperity of Pakistan. Protecting the rights of children and women is our first responsibility. She was addressing the Intrafaith and Interfaith Roundtable Peace Conference at Lahore.
