Public level committee’s will be set up across the country to control drug menace: Kaleem

ISLAMABAD, DEC 7 /DNA/ – The business community across the country will be increasingly involved in the campaign against drugs (SM Munir).
Kaleem Imam, Secretary, Narcotics Control Division, said that the drug menace was spreading rapidly in the society and to eradicate this menace, the mission would be carried out by setting up public committees across the country. He expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry led by SM Munir, Patron in Chief of United Business Group at his office yesterday.SM Munir, Patron in Chief United Business Group, said that all the chambers of commerce across the country would support him in this campaign.
He further said youth of the country is rapidly being involved in this menace and we must come forward to eridicate it.Shakeel Munir, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the Islamabad Chamber would work for drug prevention in every sector and colleges.Mian Akram Farid, Abdul Rauf Alam, Zafar Bakhtawari, Ejaz Abbasi, Khalid Iqbal Malik, Shaukat Masood, Amir Waheed, Chaudhry Waheed-ud-Din, Zahid Maqbool, Tariq Sadiq, Jamshed Akhtar Sheikh, Fahim Khan, Naveed Malik, Saif-ur-Rehman and Zia Chaudhry grace the occasion.
